Inclusion in Bergisch Gladbach – Where Do We Stand Today?
Inclusion concerns us all.
Everyone should be able to participate everywhere.
People with disabilities should be able to make their own decisions and have the same opportunities as everyone else.

On this evening, people with diverse experiences will come together to share their stories.
They’ll talk about their daily lives and share their ideas.

Our guests are Shari and André Dietz.
They are the parents of a daughter with a disability.
They’ll share their experiences as a family.
André Dietz has long been an advocate for inclusion and participation.
He also talks about work and how more people with disabilities can secure good jobs.
 
The event will be moderated by Sonja Schumacher.
She works at InBeCo.
She founded the inclusive dance theater “Lichtgestalten.”
The group is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
Sonja Schumacher is familiar with many inclusive projects in Bergisch Gladbach.
She highlights what’s already working well and where there’s still room for improvement.
 
After the discussions, there will be time for questions and discussion.
 
The discussion will focus on important questions:
 
* What does inclusion mean in everyday life?
* What is the situation like today?
* What still needs to change?
* How can Bergisch Gladbach become easily accessible and a great place to live for everyone?
