Antje Rietz, the singer with the trumpet, guides the audience through this varied concert program—full of swing, jazz, and sassy chansons—with her signature charm and a touch of playfulness.

A native of Berlin, she sings lyrics and songs by Hildegard Knef, Cole Porter, and Louis Prima; “I Got Rhythm” by George Gershwin and “Ein Tag wie Gold” from the cult series Babylon Berlin will make Friedrichstraße shake. With the elegant sound of her golden trumpet, she touches hearts without saying a word. And she celebrates the virtuoso ease with which the band accompanies her. Antje Rietz is a multi-award-winning actress and musician (Audience Award from Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart, Audience Award from Theater Ingolstadt, and the “Operettenfrosch” award from Bayerischer Rundfunk). She has performed in Berlin at the Theater des Westens, the Schlosspark Theater, the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm, and the Neuköllner Oper, and tours Germany with her band.
