When they warned of pandemics in the future, they were not heard. When the world is hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, these same scientists must fight not only the virus, but also a wave of misinformation, conspiracy theories and political finger-pointing that threatens to overshadow the truth.

This is their story.

After years of immersion in remote bat caves, three researchers are thrust into the glare of politics and serious accusations. The overheard warnings have to justify themselves. BLAME is a visually stunning film journey about the role of science in increasingly dark times. Objective and unagitated, the film shows how the world has come apart at the seams through the deliberate stoking and cultivation of fears and fact-free myths.
