Camerata 21 Trio: Rotes Dur in einer bunten Welt

Trios for flute, voice, and piano by Dorothee Eberhardt, Narine Khachatryan, and Robert Delanoff are paired with solo works, such as a piano piece by Vivienne Olive, an original composition by flutist Monika Olszak, and a piece for solo voice. These are complemented by duets in unusual combinations, such as one by Paule Maurice for saxophone and piano, or one by Ljubica Maric for voice and flute. Art song duets by Gloria Coates, Inga Rosenberg, and Minas Borboudakis round out this extraordinary program. Camerata 21 is a Munich-based ensemble that has been active for 20 years, presenting rarely heard music from the last 100 years, with a particular focus on works by female composers. Some of the compositions were written specifically for these musicians.
