In the organizer's words:
Today’s global crises and wars stand in stark contrast to what is, in fact, inconceivable: the human species, entirely dependent on the lives of countless other species, functions as a planetary force. Meanwhile, life—which is connected to an alien, planetary deep time—continues and repeatedly proves itself to be regenerative. A lizard’s severed tail regrows. Taking theater as its starting point, the workshop explores the interplay of global and planetary processes and attempts to find a sense of direction.
