When 90 percent of Icelandic women walked off the job one fall morning in 1975 and left their homes—refusing to work, cook, or care for their children— they brought their country to a standstill and catapulted Iceland to the “best place in the world to be a woman.”
The open-air movie screening with headphones will take place in the parking lot right next to the Filmhaus (Maybachstr. 111)!
The event begins around 9:45 p.m., once it’s dark enough.
In case of rain, all ticket holders will be notified by email, and the event will take place at 10:00 p.m. at the Filmhaus Kino.
Tickets are also available on-site at the Box Office.
