Seminar description
The Indian head massage "Shiroabhyanga" has its roots in the Ayurvedic healing system. It brings relaxation and calming, energizes, refreshes and promotes blood circulation in the entire head area, including the brain and face. When the brain relaxes, the whole body and nervous system relaxes.
Muscles in the neck, upper back, shoulders and chest are loosened, restoring the natural flow of energy between the head and heart. This can release the stress that has accumulated in tissues, muscles and joints.
The traditional massage takes place in a seated position and is performed with coconut oil. It is not necessary to undress and no other aids are required. If desired, the head massage can be performed dry, without the use of oil, and is therefore also suitable for the office.
The Osho UTA Institute's range of classic Osho meditations is optionally available to participants.
Course content & target group
Participants learn the basic massage techniques and gain a brief insight into the anatomy of the cranium. Exercises to learn, develop and refine the essential skills of self-awareness and sensory perception are part of the seminar. After the course, participants will be able to give a 30 to 45-minute individual session.
The course is aimed at both interested amateurs and professional body therapists as a valuable addition to and rounding off their own techniques.
