ES GILT DAS GESPROCHENE WORT | Filmhaus Open-Air
In the organizer's words:
THE SPOKEN WORD PREVAILS
Germany 2019 · 122 min · German version · Director: İlker Çatak
The worlds of Marion and Baran could hardly be more different when they first meet on the beach in Marmaris: Marion, the self-assured, independent pilot from Germany, meets Baran, the charming womanizer who dreams of a better life beyond the Bosporus. Determined, he asks Marion to take him with her to Germany. And she takes a chance on this venture—completely out of character for her usually cautious nature—and strikes a deal with him. Perhaps because she herself is currently forced to rethink her life so far? Marion’s long-term lover, Raphael, is completely taken by surprise by the new situation. Baran gives it his all to seize the chance for a new life that’s been offered to him. This impresses Marion—her reserve begins to crumble, and the two grow closer than planned.
The open-air movie screening with headphones will take place in the parking lot right next to the Filmhaus (Maybachstr. 111)!
The event begins around 9:45 p.m., once it’s dark enough.
In case of rain, all ticket holders will be notified by email, and the event will take place at 10:00 p.m. at the Filmhaus Kino.
Tickets are also available on-site at the Box Office.
