Author Claudia Schmid invites you to join her on a literary walk. At selected landmarks in the Old Town, she’ll talk about the vibrant literary scene in the UNESCO City of Literature. She’ll also read excerpts from her latest crime novel, “Blumenlust.”
Claudia Schmid has lived in the immediate vicinity of Heidelberg for over thirty years. A German studies scholar, lecturer, and honorary detective inspector with the Mannheim-Heidelberg Police Department, she writes historical and crime fiction. In addition to her thirteen books to date, she has published over sixty short stories, for which she has received several literary awards.
