Life after Love. Dance performance (world premiere)

Elsa Artmann and her collective SANFTE ARBEIT set out in search of traces of caring relationships outside of heteronormative partnerships and nuclear families - for example between generations in queer lifestyles. For Life After Love, developed as part of the fellowship at the Beethovenfest, the dancers search for gestures of affection in public spaces that defy romantic norms. Their own pop songs humorously break up the action and, with their descriptive or poetic lyrics, also offer people with visual impairments access to the dance performance.

The fellowship program is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the City of Bonn
