FIESTA – Performance von echtzeit-theater

Ever since he was little, Nono always said, “When I turn ten, there’ll be a huge party—the party of all parties, the absolute best fiesta!” What do we do when life suddenly throws a wrench in all our plans? Can we still celebrate—and maybe even more so then? 

For Nono’s tenth birthday, there’s going to be a huge celebration—the wildest bash, the party of all parties, a gigantic fiesta! Nono has been preparing for this day his whole life and has thought of everything: a lemon meringue Smarties cake, golden paper garlands, a speech about the world as he sees it. All his friends will be there. But then everything changes: The weather forecast predicts a severe storm. Maria Theresia, a hurricane so powerful it can even sweep away pizza delivery trucks, forces the kids to stay indoors. The party is literally in danger of being called off. What will become of Nono’s birthday and the fiesta of his dreams? Will his friends find a solution, or will they have to cancel on Nono? Maybe they’ll celebrate after all—just in a completely different way than anyone imagined…
