heimkino.: MEMENTO (OmU)

Leonard Shelby has lost his short-term memory: he had to watch his wife Catherine being murdered. Leonard forgets everything that happens afterwards after 15 minutes at the latest. In order to organize his everyday life, he takes Polaroid photos and makes notes. But his life now serves only one purpose: he wants revenge for his violated wife. He painstakingly retraces the criminal case, because the police don't believe that there was a second perpetrator in the attack.

"heimkino." is a project with Flugmodus GmbH to create a home for the community of film and cinema lovers in the trendy Ehrenfeld district. As part of this new series, we are bringing classic films and unknown masterpieces back to the big screen every Wednesday. One month is always dedicated to a common overarching theme. In this way, we want to offer the audience different film perspectives on the same topic, find answers together and ask new questions. We look forward to seeing you!
