HENRY AND THE WAITER - CASANOVA TOUR 2025

HENRY AND THE WAITER is the poetic alter ego of Henrik Steigerwald: two souls live in the musician's chest, which provide his artistic output, in teamwork so to speak. On the one hand, there is THE WAITER - the waiter is a lovable man of life who is constantly looking for inspiration for new songs and often staggers irrationally through the world. As a dreamer, a traveler or an observer.

And as soon as the WAITER has gathered enough inspiration, he passes on the impressions and images, text ideas and stories, experiences and observations to his second self: the brooding, thoughtful and rational HENRY, who sits alone in an imaginary room by the window, always having enough time and careful consideration before he completes the rough diamonds and song ideas of the WAITER with his voice. One is extroverted and curious, the other an amiable drinnie with a love of detail: in their interplay, they form the unit that creates the energetic melancholy of HENRY AND THE WAITER.

The musician refines his productions and arrangements with his unique girarre picking and strumming style, creating an infectious dance vibe. Along the Erfurt and FFM axis, Henrik perfected his skills as a musician in several bands before concentrating exclusively on HENRY AND THE WAITER - his place where he can realize his own compositions with his self-written lyrics exactly as he envisions them: Cool, danceable, international pop with a lot of indie influence and enormous festival potential is his trademark, vintage guitars, electronic beats and energetic, melancholic lyrics merge into a pleasant mix, always somewhat pensive and melancholic, but definitely optimistic, hopeful and rousing in the delivery. Live, the one-man project HENRY AND THE WAITER is supported by a band to perfectly realize Henrik's multi-layered productions.

Active since 2017, HENRY AND THE WAITER has built up a large following of fans who love his music, with 140+ million streams on Spotify alone. His single "Child" from November 2024 made it into the top 70 of the German AirPlay charts and his current single "Christmas-Joy" is already being streamed diligently.

In 2024, the musician and his band warmed up and played several shows in sold-out venues. He has now announced a headlining tour for spring 2025, which will take him once through Germany!

On the "Casanova" Tour 2025, fans can experience the singer-songwriter and his band live and can look forward to wonderful sets - the two albums from '23 and '24, numerous recent releases and the upcoming single "Casanova" provide plenty of material!
