Lars Rudolph will first appear on the FFT stage as Woyzeck and then perform a concert the next day. The two describe the music they create together with Thilo Schölpen as “an entity capable of swallowing a space.” The works for trumpet and piano combine openness with compositional precision. They revolve around synchronicity, autonomy, and their potential failure as a starting point for something new.
