Selim Özdogan presents his novel *“You Can’t Get Us Out of Here”*—the story of a Kurdish-Turkish family that, of all places, moves into a squatted house in Cologne in the early ’80s. Between construction sites and discos, general assemblies and the struggle for housing, a community emerges that, strictly speaking, shouldn’t even exist.

Musician Dila Yavuz performs key songs from the book and sets the mood on the piano, blending literature and sound into a unified experience.
