Kafka's texts continue to influence generations of writers and readers to this day. For the large Kafka anthology, published by Fischer-Verlag, contemporary authors were asked to react to Kafka's writing - twenty-seven (including A.L. Kennedy, Katerina Poladjan, Jaroslav Rudiš, Sjón, Clemens J. Setz) responded to this request. They went to the hardware store with Kafka, traveled the USA with him, thought about art, explored the unknown. The result is a surprising kaleidoscope of readings, interviews, insights and experiences, which editor Sebastian Guggolz presents together with Marcel Beyer and Gisela von Wysocki. Kafka today!
