CHRIS WARNAT, born in Oldenburg in 1986, studied business administration with a focus on law and completed an internship in Cologne, where she subsequently worked as an editor and, most recently, as a court reporter in the news department—a source of inspiration for her writing. She now lives with her husband and two daughters between Cologne and Bonn.

THE LIVING ROOM CHURCH: 
In November, the church will once again transform into a large living room—a place for culture and socializing in a warm, cozy atmosphere among sofas, armchairs, and rocking chairs—accompanied by cold Kölsch, delicious wine, or Kölsch water. The proceeds will go toward this year’s “You Are Valuable” fundraising campaign to support social and cultural participation.
