In the organizer's words:
Music accompanies us throughout our lives: it comforts, strengthens, and evokes memories—especially in times of upheaval. The “Geschichtsschreiber:innen” project, organized by the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Region Düsseldorf e.V. (ASB), documents the life stories of older adults.
On this evening, the ASB will present the project and, together with participants, read selected excerpts in which music plays a special role—as a personal song, a source of strength, and an expression of community.
