Comic hero Popeye, the muscle-bound sailor, must continually fight all kinds of adversaries. Mostly in order to save his permanent girlfriend Olive Oyl from the greatest distress. In "Love" everything is different: author Sivan Ben Yishai makes the sidekick Olive the main character, and the two comic characters become prototypes for heterosexual couple relationships of today. Intimates are spoken publicly because social power relations are inscribed in the stories of the body. As a sharp-eyed observer of her own love life, Olive dissects the ambivalence between female self-determination and losing herself in old relationship patterns - in order to reinvent herself in the end.

Nominated for the Mülheim Theater Prize 2020, Sivan Ben Yishai was awarded the Mülheim Drama Prize 2022 for her play "Wounds Are Forever (Self-Portrait as a National Poet)".
The critics:inside survey of "Theater heute" for the 2021/22 season chose Sivan Ben Yishai as "Playwright of the Year".
