»LITERATUR IN EINFACHER SPRACHE« MIT HAUKE HÜCKSTÄDT

Good literature does not have to be complicated and off-putting. Simple does not mean under-complex. Simple language in literature paves the way and enables the right to cultural participation. The two-day workshop teaches the basics of writing in simple language, tries out practical implementation in many creative exercises and tells the story of the genesis of a unique project. Anyone can take part - including people who are learning or teaching our language, readers with disabilities, first-time and frequent readers and writers.

HAUKE HÜCKSTÄDT is the director of the Literaturhaus in Frankfurt am Main. Together with authors such as Arno Geiger, Julia Schoch, Sasha Marianna Salzmann, Kristof Magnusson and Tonio Schachinger, he is working on a new understanding of literature. Two volumes of stories have already been published under the title "LiES!" (Literature in Simple Language).
