You can become anything - that is the promise of modernity. And Peer Gynt suspects an emperor in himself. In his search for self-realization, he slips into countless roles: Narcissist and chronic liar, gusher and fantasist, entrepreneur and haggler, emperor and defendant. But not only his identity, but also his love for Solveig is of dubious quality. Solveig herself is a seeker ... In her version, the young author and director Lidia Polito questions authenticity in a world of illusions, in which lies become currency and the ego becomes a permanent project.
