On searching and finding: These fascinating poems cannot be reduced to a single formula; they are very different —Alexandru Bulucz’s poems were written in German and are rooted in a distinctly German tradition of poetry, while Corina Bernic’s were written in Romanian and translated into German—her poems tend to be minimalist, whereas Alexandru Bulucz’s take a more narrative approach. Ioana Cristina Casapu, on the other hand, will read from her book *Berlinbuch*: stories of arriving, searching for—and sometimes finding—a place of one’s own, of loneliness, small moments of happiness, and life in the big city …
