Reading to Accompany the Exhibition: A Part of Me, a Part of You!
A winding journey from Syria to the Rhineland. Renas Sido fled the civil war in Syria at the age of 17. His journey took him through several countries, where he lived and survived for years. He crossed the Mediterranean in a rubber dinghy and reached Germany via the Balkan route in 2015. Today, Renas Sido lives in the Rhineland. He has completed his vocational training, is working, and has settled into his new home—a journey marked by great challenges, but also by support and humanity. In his book, Renas Sido reflects on flight, loss, hope, and arrival.
