In the organizer's words:
On Friday, July 10, 2026, we will be opening our doors from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Xantener Straße 46 in Cologne-Nippes, and we cordially invite you to get to know our organization, our work, and the people behind it.
As the association “Selbstbestimmt Leben” Behinderter Köln e.V., we have been advocating for inclusion, participation, and self-determined living for people with disabilities in Cologne and beyond the city limits for nearly 40 years. The open house offers the opportunity to engage in conversation, gain insights into our work, and spend a lively day together.
In addition to information about our services and our daily work, visitors can look forward to a colorful program for all ages:

Opportunity to learn about our counseling services
Meet assistance dogs
Face painting for kids and inclusive play areas
Of course, refreshments will be provided.
