Yorick Thiede is an artist without an artistic background. Raised on a farm that he should have expectedly taken over, he decided to pursue a career that could not have been further from it.
He is a novelty on the German comedy stage, everything from his appearance to the stand up itself takes place between opposites. His demeanor seems rough, his thought is subtle, the delivery is dry, the stories are engaging and somewhere in the pendulum between these facets stands an easy to grasp but elusive young man.
Yorick has a natural ease in his storytelling. Any story, no matter how surreal, is made as three-dimensional and tangible within a few seconds as if you were there yourself.

Yorick is part of the "4 Feinde" comedy collective, who performed the biggest stunt in German comedy history in September 2022. They were able to snag a gig there by making a prank call to the LANXESS arena in Cologne and then, against all expectations, sold out the 3542 seats of the arena's theater version as completely unknown comedians.

In addition to live comedy, he is working on a documentary series called "OFF STAGE" on his YouTube channel, in which he depicts life in the comedy cosmos in great detail with impressive behind-the-scenes footage of show business.
