Cologne-based pianist Max Köhler and his quartet bring straight-ahead jazz with a clear connection to tradition to the stage. The four musicians combine traditional elements with a contemporary approach, presenting a tight, authentic sound.
The band’s repertoire, consisting of the pianist’s original compositions as well as selected pieces from the modern jazz repertoire, takes the audience on a journey through moments of tension, intense interaction, and raw energy.
