Every third Friday of the month, in collaboration with the Bergisch Historical Society, Rhein-Berg Branch, a lecture is held on a topic related to local history, history, or cultural history.

The garden settlement in the Gronauerwald was founded 130 years ago, and for the past 20 years, the Friends’ Association has been volunteering to preserve and promote this special place. To mark this anniversary, we are pleased to welcome Frank Grobolschek as our speaker.

In his lecture, Frank Grobolschek will explore the eventful history of the garden settlement and highlight the importance of the Friends’ Association in preserving this cultural heritage. Drawing on his in-depth knowledge and using vivid examples, he will trace the development of the Gronauerwald from its founding to the present day.
