On this premiere night, we’ll be showing the first four episodes of the fifth season of “Babylon Berlin” exclusively for our guests—as an open-air special screening with a total runtime of 170 minutes. Ten years, five seasons, countless stories—and on September 11, the grand farewell under the open sky: Be there when the curtain rises one last time for Gereon Rath and Charlotte Ritter.

All guests who come to the theater dressed in 1920s/1930s style will receive a free drink of their choice from our bar menu, plus free popcorn or nachos!

Info on Babylon Berlin Season 5

The series’ writers and directors—Henk Handloegten, Achim von Borries, and Tom Tykwer—put February 1933 under the cinematic microscope in the final season: Rarely has a society been so radically thrown into turmoil in such a short time as Germany was during that chaotic month. It’s not just Gereon Rath and Charlotte Ritter—all the series’ protagonists must realize that they have only a few options left: to conform and submit, to risk their lives in open opposition, to retreat into internal emigration, or to flee into exile. But this decisive month also presents the opportunity to change the course of history at the very last moment…
