Bridges. Rundgang zu den Brücken von Iván Argote im Spreepark mit Julia Badaljan
In the organizer's words:
To mark the opening of Iván Argote’s exhibition“A Place to Stay”at Spreepark Art Space, Julia Badaljan leads a tour through the construction site to Iván Argote’s permanent installation “Bridges Spreepark”: Five bridges have been built around the island near the Ferris wheel. Where boats once glided across the water on the grand canal tour, plants now grow. In response to this transformation, Iván Argote’s bridges invite visitors to take in new perspectives on the artificial landscape near the Ferris wheel and to reflect not only on the public space itself but also on the encounters and relationships of the people who use it.
Julia Badaljanis the project manager for “Art in the Park” at Spreepark and helped oversee Iván Argote’s permanent installation from conception through implementation. In addition to coordinating the temporary and permanent works in the park and developing the program for the Spreepark Art Space, she worked as a curatorial assistant for the 14th Taipei Biennial.
