Unkraut Gelateria by Wild Seed

What makes a plant a weed? Who decides which plants are useful, which are beautiful, and which are considered invasive? 

As part of the Regional Residency at Spreepark Art Space,wild seedhas created a weed archive of Spreepark. To do this, we curiously explored which plants grow along the wayside, what stories they tell, and what forms of attention, knowledge, and collaboration they can inspire. 

This research has led to experiments and recipes that we’d like to share with you at the wild seed ice cream bar FLORA NON GRATA. Here, you can sample sorbets made from wild plants found in Spreepark, learn more about the plants, and take home some refreshing inspiration.
