2067, Réunion: A mother prays to her ancestors from the people of the sea on the neighboring Big Island. She tells her daughter about her grandfather Dadabe’s struggle against a massive, environmentally destructive project that ravaged the land of their ancestors and forced them into exile. It was a time when the powerful around the world scorned those who were determined to preserve fertile land and bountiful waters for their unborn children… It was a time when Generation Z was taking shape in Madagascar and young people around the world were also fighting against climate change.
