Christiane Rösinger »The Joy of Ageing« – Musikalische Lesung

The musician, author and theater maker Christiane Rösinger has already been a guest at Kampnagel in a wide variety of constellations - most recently together with Stefanie Sargnagel or in 2024 with her big class revue. Now the Kreuzberg native and grandmother is devoting herself to a new topic: getting older. In her book "The Joy of Ageing" (Rowohlt), she humorously combines ageing advice, personal experiences and keen observations. In her search for positive role models, Rösinger takes a relentlessly honest look at various female roles with a great deal of humour and depth: from the dog-woman to the self-optimizer to the up-country-mover. The result is a powerful appeal to no longer put up with the way society treats women who are no longer young. At Kampnagel, she weaves her observations into a reading with musical accompaniment in the large hall.
