Duo Fujita – Krauß: fragile furore
In the organizer's words:
“fragile furore” explores forms of female expression in music and art, navigating the tension between vulnerability and strength.
The program’s narrative arc extends from light to flame: from the spiritual radiance of Hildegard von Bingen through the multifaceted soundscapes of modern and contemporary music, featuring works of existential intensity. The program centers on world premieres by Narine Khachatryan and Barbara Mayer, as well as a painting by Brigitte Heintze created specifically for the project, which bridges music and the visual arts. Compositions by Kaija Saariaho, Florentine Mulsant, Daryl Runswick, and Thierry Tidrow round out the program, which allows the audience to experience fragility as a source of artistic power.
