KLINKE: Nasim
In the organizer's words:
Nasimhas played so many living-room concerts that he has free Wi-Fi access almost everywhere in Germany.
The Stuttgart-based singer-songwriter only loses his Swabian accent when he sings. Then you hear a voice you’d believe anything from. Whether he’s singing about love—the singer-songwriter’s eternal companion—or setting to music a reckoning with clichés about immigrants.
On social media, Nasim has sung about Stuttgart neighborhoods and other cities in Baden-Württemberg—and his posts have gone viral time and again. Now he’s wondering whether he should get rid of the spirits he summoned or instead monetize them. So he keeps writing songs that are relatable yet offer a unique perspective on the world—even when the subject is a Yeti receiving a basic income.
