THIS TOMORROW - a choreographic concert
The dance performance explores the emotional and political weight of the future, not in the search for solutions, but through the intimate act of moving on together, through moving perseverance. The trio, consisting of two dancers and a musician, explores different constellations of the individual and the collective - with care, melancholy and elation. Somatic movement research meets sound. Digital sounds interweave with the liveliness of breath and the effect of gravity on the body is exploited in all possible amplitudes. In an installative structure of sound, body and sound body, the performers move pulsatingly and constantly in flux through cycles of construction and decay. What sustains us beyond the omnipresent capitalist logic of exploitation? The work explores positive drafts of possible futures, in community, as vulnerable bodies in the fragile, open space of the now.
