Gospel Singers of Kahla 

Hallelujah, Salvation, and Glory

The “Gospel Singers Kahla” are a regional choir consisting of about 30 men and women of all ages who love to sing.

They were founded in 2001 under the direction of KMD Ina Köllner and have been rehearsing regularly every week in Kahla ever since.

In addition to traditional gospel songs and spirituals, classic ballads, and well-known film scores, their repertoire also includes African rhythms—which we particularly love. Through regular concerts, they showcase their joy of singing and their choral groove, captivating their audience in the process.

Through their songs, they convey strength, a zest for life, and the joy of singing together. Their concerts are lively and passionate, creating an atmosphere that resonates in your ears and gets your feet moving. Through regular collaboration with other choirs—for example, at gospel workshops and rehearsal weekends—they develop new pieces, refine their sound, and expand and deepen their repertoire.
