BIOGRAPHY
Melanie Raabe was born in Thuringia and grew up in North Rhine-Westphalia. After completing her studies, she worked as a journalist by day—and secretly wrote books at night.
*Die Falle* was published in 2015, *Die Wahrheit* in 2016, *Der Schatten* in 2018, and *Die Wälder* in 2019. Her first nonfiction book, *Kreativität*, was published in 2020, and in 2021 she published her entry on Lady Gaga for the KiWi Music Library. Her fiction podcast *Der Abgrund* was released in 2019. In 2022, she published her novel *Die Kunst des Verschwindens*. In 2023, another fiction podcast, *The Quest*, was released, as well as the TV adaptation of *Der Schatten* (ZDF neo).
In late summer 2026, *DAISY – And All Your Secrets Will Belong to Me* will be released, her first thriller in seven years.
There’s no law against malice. But there’s me...
Luca seems quite unremarkable, but only at first glance. No one suspects that she leads a daring double life. She is 34, chronically single, and a respected attorney at a Berlin law firm. Her small apartment is crammed with books, records, and files. By day, she’s a good friend and a hard-working lawyer; by night, however, she dispenses justice in a very different way. That’s when she quietly and stealthily seeks out all those who have gotten away with evil deeds unpunished. And in doing so, she leaves behind a trademark—a daisy.
But one day, she’s almost caught during one of her nighttime missions. And suddenly, mysterious posters are popping up all over the city, reading like threats directed at her: I will find you. And all your secrets will belong to me. Luca is certain: she’s being followed. And it seems that one of her actions has put her in the crosshairs of the wrong person—someone who’s now turning the tables on her and has far fewer scruples than she does. A dangerous game of cat and mouse begins. But is Luca even targeting the right opponent?
