How to fool the Gestapo with the means of theater - a comedy based on the classic film 'To be or not to be' by Ernst Lubitsch
Warsaw 1939: Shortly before the German invasion of Poland, the theater rehearses the satire "Gestapo". Then the real Gestapo arrive for interrogations. Risking their lives, the actors pull out all the stops and slip into the roles of Nazi celebrities and SS officers to deceive the Gestapo. The young graduate ensemble of the drama school dedicates itself to a classic comedy of mistaken identity that celebrates theater par excellence and the courage to resist with artistic means.
