Rory Ingham Quartet

London-based trombonist Rory Ingham is an absolutely exceptional talent. The "Rising Stars" winner of the British Jazz Awards is a bandleader, composer, teacher and, above all, a convincing soloist on his instrument in every respect. Whether with the BBC BigBand, the Passadena Roof Orchestra or with his own Trombone Assembly, he can regularly be heard at Ronnie Scott's Club, the Amsterdam Bimhuis or other major jazz stages and festivals in Europe.
Sam Hogarth also comes from England, studied music in London and currently lives in Mainz where he works as Kapellmeister at the Staatstheater. He is also a gifted jazz pianist of the modern school with a strong influence from Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock.
The formation's bassist is Henning Gailing from Cologne and drummer Silvio Morger from Basel will play drums.
