Vortrag: "Archäologische Quartiere in Europa". Mit Dr. Thomas Otten
In the organizer's words:
The presentation of archaeological monuments takes place in various categories. These can be archaeological landscape parks, archaeological museums, protective structures or open excavation areas.
A very special category is represented by archaeological quarters, which function in urban centers as underground accessible and authentic places of archaeological monuments.
In this respect, MiQua itself stands alongside examples such as the medieval city quarter in Krakow, the ancient and medieval archaeological cultural heritage in Barcelona or the Domus Aurea in Rome.
Meeting point: MiQua:forum, Alter Markt 31, 50667 Cologne
