DOK.fest München is expanding its spectrum to include virtual reality: in cooperation with XR HUB Bavaria and munich creative business week, the festival is presenting three documentary virtual reality experiences and an augmented reality app.

EMPEROR

A father-daughter story in VR: we take on the perspective of the father, who suffers from aphasia, move through a black and white landscape, switch on a tape recorder and complete words with the daughter during speech therapy exercises. EMPEROR is a poetic tale about the loss of abilities, about transience and about the bonds that remain despite everything.

Recommended for ages 16 and up. Available in German, English and French
