Wenn Zusammenhalt zählt: Menschliche Solidarität im Fokus Vortrag und Austausch
In the organizer's words:
On December 20, 2026, we will observe the International Day of Human Solidarity—an opportunity to underscore the importance of solidarity for a more just society. In its Millennium Declaration, the United Nations defined solidarity as one of the core values of the 21st century. These principles are becoming increasingly relevant in times of growing inequality. The responsibility of the privileged toward the disadvantaged is a central aspect of this. On this evening, we will address the following key questions:
- What is meant by human solidarity?
- What value does it hold for our society?
- What factors promote or hinder social cohesion?
- How can solidarity be practiced and strengthened in daily life?
We are pleased that Eleni Biskini-Fischer, who holds a degree in political science, will be supporting us with her expertise. Let’s use this platform for a constructive exchange and celebrate the spirit of solidarity.
