Potty training is a significant developmental milestone that requires self-confidence, emotional security, and guidance. In daycare, this raises many questions: When do children show the first signs of this transition? How can activities be designed to support children at their own pace? And what should be done if the topic of diapers suddenly comes up again?

In this training course, daycare providers will learn to recognize children’s signals, respond to them respectfully, and provide them with a sense of security. Expert knowledge and practical guidance will help them support children through this important process, promote their independence, and at the same time convey a sense of security.

For daycare providers with proof of a valid care permit from the City of Cologne, participation in the event is free of charge and is recognized as continuing education. Please let us know well in advance of the course start date, via email or by phone, whether you meet this requirement.
