As part of his Jazz Summer Week, Munich-based pianist and keyboardist Matthias Bublath presents a concert by singer Fernanda Santanna. With timeless elegance and abundant charisma, the Brazilian artist moves seamlessly between samba, bossa nova, and jazz, subtly bridging the gap between tradition and contemporary sounds. She embodies all the qualities that fans associate with music from Santanna’s homeland.

Fernanda Santanna is an outstanding songwriter, but she also feels a deep connection to the classics of *musica popular brasileira*, and so she interprets timeless songs by Tom Jobim, Roberto Menescal, Milton Nascimento, and João Bosco in her very own unique way.

On the Unterfahrt stage, this outstanding singer is accompanied by her musical director and guitarist Will Magalhães, Matthias Bublath on keyboards, Berval Moraes on bass, and Christian Lettner on drums.
