»Gerechtigkeit« Lesung mit Bernhard Schlink

Everyone wants justice - always for themselves, sometimes for others, rarely for everyone. But what is justice and how can it be achieved? Is it fair to treat everyone equally? Does justice need to be thought of (and practiced) much more individually? And how do people of different generations view justice? Bernhard Schlink, constitutional judge, professor of public law and legal philosophy and internationally acclaimed author since "The Reader", offers neither a concept nor a formula in his new book (Diogenes). He calls for active action. His "crystalline essay"(Süddeutsche Zeitung) explores the limits of justice and shows that justice is not a state, but a permanent process: Justice is not a state, but a permanent activity.
