Saxophonist Leonora Tomanoski will take the stage this evening alongside a quartet of young musicians from Cologne’s jazz scene. The group met while studying at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. Together, they explore the diversity of jazz, with a repertoire ranging from energetic straight-ahead jazz to groovy jazz-funk. In addition to original compositions, the band performs selected pieces from the jazz repertoire. The focus is on the joy of playing, communication, and the ensemble’s collective sound.
