Kurzfilm im Veedel „Liebe“

In the organizer's words:

Short Film "Im Veedel 2026" – LOVE

A panorama as diverse as love itself—tender, unexpected, challenging, poetic, and powerful. An invitation to explore the countless facets of human connection.
The program tells stories of love on the empty streets of Kyiv, of the energy in a relationship between two dancing twin sisters, and of a heart-wrenching encounter between two aliens. The films depict intimate moments, family bonds, helplessness, and surprising tenderness.
In a time that seems dominated by crises and conflicts, this program provides a counterbalance: it draws our attention to what unites us, to hope, and to our shared humanity.

The “Kurzfilm im Veedel” format brings short films to the big screen even outside of downtown hotspots. “Kurzfilm im Veedel” presents cross-genre and cross-format short film programs on current topics and pressing issues, with the goal of making short films accessible and visible to as many people as possible.
