Lesung und Gespräch: Luise Straus-Ernst: Pariser Impressionen. Mit Dr. Christiane Twiehaus und Dr. Eva Weissweiler

For the second time, Dr. Eva Weissweiler will be reading texts by Luise Straus-Ernst at the MiQua:forum. Luise Straus-Ernst (1893-1944) is known to the art world as the first wife of the painter Max Ernst and as the muse of the Dadaists and Surrealists. But she was much more: an art historian, author of short stories, reportages, novels and a radio writer from the very beginning.
The writer and radio author Eva Weissweiler has been researching this extraordinary woman for many years. At the end of 2025, her latest publication appeared under the title "Pariser Impressionen. Texts from exile". Eva Weissweiler and Christiane Twiehaus will once again trace an impressive and tragic Cologne biography with these texts and in conversation. The reading will be translated into German sign language.
