If You Leave Me, I'm Coming With You
Cabaret & Vocals:Tina Teubner
Piano:Ben Süverkrüp
Tina Teubner is one of the most extraordinary voices in German-language cabaret. In her show “If You Leave Me, I’m Coming With You,” she combines language and music with keen observations and places personal experiences within a broader context. The focus is on expectations, relationships, and the demands of everyday life—in a world where the private and the social are inextricably linked.
Teubner’s approach is clear and focused: she observes keenly, expresses herself with precision, and shifts confidently between analytical distance and personal intimacy. The result is texts and songs that are moving without becoming maudlin, and funny without slipping into the trivial. She is accompanied on the piano by Ben Süverkrüp, with whom she has been collaborating for many years. The interplay of words and music is not merely an afterthought but a central component of the evening.
Throughout her career, Tina Teubner has received numerous awards for her work, including the German Cabaret Award, the German Cabaret Prize, the Memminger Maul, and, in 2026, the Bavarian Cabaret Prize in the music category.
Her current stage program showcases Tina Teubner at her best: musically inspired and full of linguistic sophistication. An evening with her invites laughter and leaves room for personal reflection.
