The Beethovenfest Bonn is one of the largest and most innovative classical music festivals in Germany. Beethoven spent his childhood and youth in Bonn and experienced his most formative years here. As a festival, we want to carry on the spirit of the young, progressive and approachable Beethoven and create an environment for artists to bring Beethoven's work to life in the 21st century. Every year in September, we therefore celebrate Beethoven's music in around 80 concerts - from large international orchestras to pop acts - as well as with talks, exhibitions and workshops for everyone.
